Scott, you have a very nice tank with heathy corals and clams.

Time for some more pictures.

I still can't get a good full tank shot. There are too many gifts under the tree (next to the tank) and the x-mas lights are always reflected in the tank. I was able to get some good shots though.

Nice work, Scott! I think you'll love it if you add couple of actinics, the overall color of the tank will be much different.

Minh, nice to see you post again...WELCOME BACK!!!!
It's been a long time and I hope everything is OK with you and family.

They're here Charlie, just on the other side of the tank blocked by the gifts.

Beautiful pictures. Is that a Hydnophona that you pictured up there? The 4th picture.

Well actually I got "rid" fo something for the tank this year for Christmas, no more Bryopsis!

Yes Minh, it is a small Hydnophora frag that's we've had for quite a while. Never got any growth out of it but we have had some problems. Everything is lined out now so hopefully it'll pick up.

I assume the T-5,s you wish are actinics Scott. If so, you will be pleased with them. I use the complete assembly with the ballasts built in. No fuss or muss. With the reflectors they use, great actinic light. best I have used and I have used most all.

I don't know, might be a decent combination running 20k halides with some 10k T-5's. Kind of backwards in regards to maximizing output but...

I sort of did that, when running 400w Radiums but with normal output, 65K bulbs
The 12K T-5,s are very nice also.

Don't want to jump the gun with anything right now. Just trying to enjoy a tank without any nuisance algae.
