    garlic problem

hey all. I cut some gel caps with garlic in them and soaked some brine shrimp for about 10 minutes. Couldn't strain it, so I poured it in the tank, and now the tank reeks of garlic. it's a little cloudy too. Do I need to worry about anything? I have the skimmer going.

    thanks

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I've put garlic in every way, shape and form you can think of in the tank. The last time I took a couple of cloves and ran it through the press twice. Not only did the tank reek of garlic, but the whole house smelled like an Italian restaurant. In the past 3 years that I've used garlic in various forms in the tank, it has never caused any problems, other than a little cloudiness and stink. On the other hand, I've found that the good it does is still questionable. Probably can't hurt, MAYBE it will help.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, but it's the thought that counts.
