IRC Chat
Good day all,
As some of you know, Rocky and I worked a little bit on IRC JPilot chat for Reefland (#reefland). The chat was running on a trial basis while I tried to determine if the money spent to register it was worth it. Well there was some participation but I could never judge if it was worth the money. So...I thought I would post a poll to see if there is any reason to register it (how often will it be used). Here is the original thread: Reefland now has IRC CHAT! Realtime! Cast your vote! Well I do believe interest is pretty low Scott. Maybe it wasnt such a good idea after all. The ppl that do come in dont have time to chat for long wich is totally understandable.

How much does it cost to reg it? Maybe those of us who will use it will toss in a cpl bucks to do so.

maybe it just needs more time to take off... most people I know don't even know what irc is, let alone use it for chatting. You've only had this up for a couple of months right? is it $50 a month or year? if it's only $50 a year, then I would keep it running a while longer and see if more people jump on the bandwagon.
