Just curious- has anyone known of a clarkii clown eating a sand coral (very similar to button coral)? One of my two clarkiis has taken to swimming through and 'sleeping' in the coral, and my husband and I think we may have see him nip out a coral and drop it or eat it. Comments? Suggestions?

They have been known to eat parts of their host anenomae when first getting "acquainted" with it. I think it has something to do with developing their immunity to it's sting. They may just be doing this with your coral.
