That's beautiful L and L. I'm impressed with both the clam and the picture
Where'd the clam come from and how long have you had him? |

Thanks Capt. I took that with my Sony F-505 digital camera. It's not a flawless quality picture...but, it's close enough for me. There's the guy who sold it to me =) Barry at clamsdirect.com
We got him back in July 02' and it sits under (5-7" from surface and 14" from bulb) a 175w MH 10,000k german bulb. I feed it DT's every couple of nights and turn off the skimmer for the night. The 100gRR tank has two 175wMH and two VHO 140w. I'm pretty new at the marine world. My first 30g tank was one year old 10-1-02. And started this 100gRR back in April 02'....but, I do know good customer service and support. I've ordered from around 10 online mail order companies and most of the ones I've used have been great to good. Barry sells just clams and he knows his stuff.....And he gets to cherry-pick the clams and won't sell them unless it meets his approval. It's really kinda funny watching his website when he puts up the new pictures of the new arrivals..... you have to be quick to snag them or they're gone. That speaks for itself. Cheers to you clam lovers and look forward to hanging out here w/ ya, Layne |
