hitchhiker ID??
I picked up some of PA's LR rubble yesterday and found this in it....can anyone help me with an id??
it is hard to the touch, but close appearance is similar to a prickly pear cactus pad...has white hair like feelers coming out of a ridge at the upright edges...these hair like things do not retract when touched... it seems to have a few similarities to Pavona Cactus Coral, but I'm not sure and I haven't found any reference to the color...very nice wine red... any help would be greatly appreciated... a link to a pic of it... http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/sh...threadid=12999 thanx, bob |
