Is this normal?
Well... okay. So here's the deal. I have a 30 gallon tank now. Few mushrooms. But fish wise... these guys are like best friends. They've been in the tank together a few weeks now and the chromis stay around Fuzzy(the dwarflion) since day one. I was afraid these guys would stay away from Fuzzy since he's about 3 times their size and fear of getting eaten.
Anyone else have this experience? ![]() |

Hi Blue Water!
I am curious, what is the diet you feed your lionfish? If your not feeding live food perhaps that is why he has no interest in the Chromis.
Just a thought, Scott Z. |

Pretty much just go to the grocery and buy a couple pounds of squid and shrimp. Dice em up and mix em into frozen cubes. I feed one cube to the tank a day... and every few days, I feed a Formula One Cube. Once every couple weeks I will feed live brine for a few days.
Oh... a few times I fed feeder guppies. But that's about it. |

Also, do you guys think 15lbs of live rock, will be enough for the fishies to swim around and hide in? They seem to like the swim space right now.

i had a fuzzy dwarf that had no interest in other smaller fish as well-so ime it is normal-seems to me the FD preferred much smaller morsals of food.
in a thrity gallon -i would add another ten pounds or so of rock -the more caves yuo can make for these guys the better., |
