Minh - there is always room for just one more nice clam. Besides - didn't you already get 6 or 8 very nice clams from Darren?

I got 5 of the 8 clams from Darren. Three go to a friend's tank. I just got my tank ready for clams again. I wanted these jewels in my reef. They are my favorite animals.
Peter, after 2-3 years, your Gigas will take up all your tank. You need to send those nice Maxima you have to me. I got first pick when you start selling because you are out of room OK .

The two Maximas are beautiful, especially the blue one. The B&W looks just like mine, with the green rim around it too.

Beautiful! :eek3: Is that a black maxima? They all look very healthy and happy. How big are they?

Thanks guys! These 3 clams were part of the grand prize at MACNA and were provided by ORA.

I am not sure I would classify the one as black, although it sure looks like it most times. It looks more like a real dark chocolate brown to me close up. They are all about 3" in size.

I got a few to post, but I haven't had time to take the pictures yet. I have recovered from my losses, it didn't take me long! Just the way it worked out, the right clams popped up at the right time. Two are from Barry, and 5" squamosa and a 5" electric crocea, and two are ORA ultra maximas from LFSs here in town. I can't believe it, but one of the ORAs is almost a copy of the one I posted earlier in this thread as my best clam, which was one that I lost in the move. Thought I would never see another like it. I will post it soon.

Not as spectacular as some, (you know who you are!)...but here's my ultra maxima.

This is the only pic I have offhand. He's still a little guy - only about 2.5" (ORA) The pic is through the glass, but he looks great from above.

here is another one with the rose color on it:

It now belongs to a friend of mine.

BTW, all these were taken with flash, so there is no funky actinic thing going on here.
