Marine S.A.T. - does it work?
I have had a bad case of hair algae for close to a year now and was just about ready to look at freshwater. I have already dosed with this product with good results. Can anyone add to this?

I have tried this stuff before, it didn't work for me. The only thing that helped me was using a refugium to take up the nutrients.

I noticed a change within a week and still it seems to be desolving or robbing energy from the algae. All the LR, anomone(sp?), snails, and fish appear uneffected. I like what is happening so far. How many turbo snails will finish the job on my 110 gal. that has been up for nearly 3 years?

MyColorYellow,
I think turbos can be hit or miss when it comes to algae. I like trochus snails for general algae problems...and for hair algae...I'm kinda at a loss. Perhaps a sally lightfoot? Chris |
