wow, i thought these were good pics, guess nobody likes my candy.
i have never seen any with polyps like this.
Oh well.

Holy cow those are some big ole polyps....can you give us some dimensions? have they reproduced yet? do they send out sweepers?

there are 11 heads. No they havent reproduced.. and it get crazy sweeper tentacles.
I cant really give dimensions.
they are in a 65 gallon tank. off center just to the right. It is the main view of the tank. it really is my centerpiece.
under a 175 mh with 2x65 pc actinic.

It looks like most of the polyps are getting ready to split into two sections! I have a caulastrea that is doing this right now as well. They are very very cool corals.. one of my personal favs.

Huge polyps man When they about to split they usualy look pinched,sort of like a figure eight.Mine did it numerous times and now one is doing it as well.here's a pic mine ,actually making three out of one polyp

my polyps havent looked like that in forever..... tey are always, 2- inch extended abovevthe skeleton, even when i move them, they dont bother to close up...
i will take a full tank pic 1 day.
