reef safe question to all long time SPS and Clam experts

reef safe question to all long time SPS and Clam experts

A question to all long time SPS and Clam experts.

Is there a reef safe butterfly fish that can be kept in a tank with calms and SPS. if you now of one can you post a picture and name

I am no expert but Marine Center says that Thompson's butterfly fish is reef safe

Clamlvr,
I have a Chelmon rostratus(copperband) in my tank with clams and some sps and so far it's been good.Ate all of the feather dusters but had not touched anything else.Very pieacefull fish towards other fishes as well.Has not gone after aiptasia yet but I'm hopeful

I have my eye on a pyramide (Hemitaurichthys Polyepis) and a Zoster(Hemitaurichthys Zoster) my LFS assures me they both are reef safe she showed pictures of local reefers (tanks) with one or the other swiming amongst corals mostly softies.

the pyramid is considered reef safe-not sure on the zoster but i would suspect it is as well.
