that is a really nice cap.
what is the best way to mount frags of these? should it be vertical to the rock, or laying flat, or something else altogther?

I put this one flat and then attached the flat piece to a taller rock. I kind of eye all frags to see which way it's growing and try to fing the best piece of rock that fits it. It's fun. This hobby is all so interesting.
Thanks Holly

Thanks for the info on attaching, I am getting two cap frags soon, and the last one I got I think I messed up by gluing it vertical...it wound up getting knocked down and cracked
BTW what are the best LFS's in Houston? live not too far away and visit there alot, but never knew any stores to hit...

I have a cap frag coming in the am i hope and was wondering if I should mount it low or high in the tank? I have dual 175 AB 10 k bulbs on a 24 inc h tank with a 5 inch SB so actually only 19 inches to the sand.

Jeff

The Cap is the one reason I started liking the whole SPS thing so I wanna do it right.

I go to all places here in Houston, Aquatic Designs, FishLand, Fish Word, T&T. It just depends on what they have in stock. It's just fun going all around to see what everyone has. Have Fun!

It is green a lime green. A friend took this a few weeks ago. I wish I had a digital. The pic has a hazy tint too....I need a good camera to show how bright it is.
