My new almost 3" Hippopus
I pick this one up about 3 weeks ago or so locally since I had they guy I am kind of helping with his LFS so had him order me one.
Only clam left now is a Gigas which will have to wait till I get the new 120 up in a few months.

LOL yeah not a lot of color to it but I like the varitie.Will have to make for its color by getting a Gagis with some good color.

They are unusual, the striations are so neat on hippopus clams. Very nice tendar.

Cool!

They are not colorful, but are still cool clams. Hardy, too. Has anyone ever lost a Hippo?

That one has the cool well-defined lines I like in the Hippos.
