Congrats Chris!
Hey Man you're back at school now right? Any good shops near ya?
Hey who won 1st prize anyway?
Nope i have this week off as well i head back the 13th....so i am hitting as many shops at home as i can.....chris i recommend u hit that one in park ridge its called living seas aquarium....real easy to get to and has great stock. What exactly did you win chris?
Jon
p.s. the only good shops are in indy and champagne. sailfin in champ. is pretty good. but indy you can hit the big ones.
Jon,
Not sure what I won. Something from IceCap. Never been to Living Seas you have an address for them? Or just an intersection or somthing? Scott emailed me onthe first, but I was in the process of moving, so today I finaly got all my email and he requested some info for icecap to ship to me.
Chris
I certainly do its 811 Devon Avenue Park Ridge Il 60068 i believe.....the place is pretty big there is 4 rooms.....one just of the tanks for sale, one of corals and 2 rooms with various fish. they have a nice big shark pond display a huge aggressive tank w/ the biggest green eel ive ever seen.....and their is a reef display and there is a sting ray pond as well....i wanted to stay all day i was having a blast just lookin.....they got a nice selection of sps corals....i dont have much sps buying experience but the guy at advanced aquatics in schaumburg said they were pricey and i kind of agree but their sps are in good condition so i think they'd be worth it if you could afford them...us college folk cant drop a 100bux on a frag or hard tube duster.....as much as id like to i just cant....great place friendly people.
Jon
p.s. dont go there 'till noon...
their hours are....mon-thurs: 12-8
fri- 12-9
sat- 12-6
sun- 12-4
p.s. you can get a rough idea what to look forward to by going to their website i just found www.livingseaaquarium.com it doesnt do them justice but you can see that their fish are kept in nice sized tanks.
