My new addition. Should have known better!

I got me a watchman goby and pistol shrimp........
Got up the next morning and my tank was a big cloud. One or both of them, tore through my sand bed last night, it seems to have settled down. I knew they were gonna do that, i just couldnt think of another fish i liked or wanted!
heres a pic of the old man

Great picture! I have owned a pink spotted shrimp goby for years. A great fish with amusing and entertaining behavior.

Regards,
Kevin

I got a yellow watchman goby for my pistol shrimp. They went together immediately and set up housekeeping for about a week. Then they got divorced. The goby lives on one side of the tank, the shrimp on the other. This has been the situation for 3 months now, so reconsiliation is probably out of the question. Go figure.

Hey skunk clown, your goby looks likes mine. Mine has been in for almost a month now. The only time the tank gets a little cloudy now is when the shrimp is cleaning tunnels in the evening. I think once all the tunnels are dug they slow down a lot, but they are still great to watch.

The sand bed has been pretty rearanged this last month. There is about 30 to 40 percent of my original sand bed intact. I know its hard to see it destroyed but I guess it comes with the guest. I hope once they have established tunnels the rest of the sand bed wil resettle.
