Gene, those pics are great!!!! I know about having to frag something and I too get jittery. I get the shakes bad.
Your copperband is cool. I love mine and have had it for over 2 years now. Beleive it or not, it has only now learned or developed a taste for aiptasia. All these years I would have to blast them but now it has taken over the job of taking care of those things. Beautiful rose. The color on those anemones is unreal. Great pics!!! my 180 ecosystem sps/clam tank: http://berlinmethod.com/suet/ my 120 ecosystem tank: http://suetruett.homestead.com/home.html |

TRhanks all
!Rocky,I'm not sure what type of macroalgae this is,but it just showed uip one day and I just prune it and that's all The acro in this pic is a unknown to me,I got it as a tiny frag and it has grown into something .Sorry Rocky, I just got my Veron's books and I'll try to ID this thing.MDM,thanks! It means alot to me coming from you Sue,how are you?Yes,this Chelmon is something else I would never think that it would work(cause I've tried before)but it worked and I love this little fella. Now,regarding that rose bta,I wish Dr.Ron would take the clone as this couple nuked quite a few of my prized corals, and now I'm p****d! This things are huge, each one is about a foot accross.

Barry, do I ever remember that copperband and what it decided to eat. So glad the black tiger max. made it through it though.
Gene, this past week was nice, hey, no doctor's appointments. Now next week is another thing altogether. Patrick has some unbelievable frags. What is the lineatus?? My 120 is now a FO tank and I'm getting up to speed with my fish species. I have a pakistani butterfly in and have a powder blue on the way. Talk about beautiful fish. my 180 ecosystem sps/clam tank: http://berlinmethod.com/suet/ my 120 ecosystem tank: http://suetruett.homestead.com/home.html |

Hi Sue,
Glad you had a relatively "easy" week The fish is Acanthurus lineatus or a clown tang.he's in my 75g tank.I know they could be quite agressive but this one is juvenile and was introduced last.So far he's a model sitizen Chris, my copperband is eating mysid shrimp quite nicely and recently started to take some frozen brine(not his favorite) and some bloodworms.Besides,I can always start propagating aiptasia Kevin, thanks.Veron's book was the best gift I've got for my b-day and the only one reef related ![]()
