Gene, I asked my LFS about the lineatus, and described it to him. He knew right off the bat, it was the clown tang. I was getting the lineatus mixed up with the wrasse, also a lineatus. Now I've got it right. Cool tang, hope it does well for you. It should as it is a juvie. he says.

I have him for a few month and he's done well so far. My obligatory yellow tang ignored him from the start and other fishes are piecefull as well He's very active grazer and needs to be fed alot of green things to eat,I feed him nori and he loves it;)
Regarding that Chelmon r.,this is my third fish that I tried.First was returned to the LFS as he ate everything he was not supposed to and second one was dead in two days and I suspect a cyanide poisoning on that one.Now, this little fella I have now, I got from all places a Foster and Smith and it worked.Very healthy specimen and it took him about two to three weeks to polish off my small feather dusters and then he discovered aiptasia is food as well.Made me very happy reefer as I was at the stage of breaking down my tank. Yea,I wish I could hear those Aiptasias scream I actualy watch him pluck them out of the rocks one day and was amaized how meticulous he was at doing it.Now if would show some interest in some zoanthids,it would be a true gift from heaven

OK, for the anemone lovers,this is a pic of Heteractis crispa that I have for about two years. I think I saved this one from a sertain doom as it was bleached and the size of a silver dollar with purple tips(I'm sure you've seen them at the lfs plenty of times)
Was sold to me as white with purple tips seabae anemone,sheesh.
It's about 10-12" accross and hosting a 4" maroon clownfish,gets salmon flesh and guts for dinner and some lance fish for snack BTW,still has purple tips...

that is a beautiful mantle on that first one.

You mean the very first pic?There is two clams on that pic,Gigas and the Derasa.
The first one is Gigas.Oh yea,I have 2x250w MH Ushio's and VHO's Actinics.
I really like that Gigas clam

Actuallyall Tridacnid clams can be considered giant clams but,Derasas and the Gigas are the two largest of the family
