Ok here is my new tank, 55 gallon 36x16x21 <-- i think thats right =).. In this pic it has 45 pounds of fiji rock, will be adding some of Scubadude's GREAT rock and a few of his AWESOME corals. Check his site out, really nice guy... ok ok well.. O yes i will be adding another 50 lbs of fiji LR from my other tank. im going for the Trench look like the one in the Reef Archive forum of the japanese tank... gotta love it! Circulation is provided via 2x 1200 maxijets (too much for this tank but got them both for 5$ a peice) They are ran off of a Wavemaster pro and are hardly on at the same time. I have a 5 gallon sump and a 10 gal refugium with 2 inches of sandbed and 5 lbs of rock. The refugium is DIY under tank style and has around 50 watts over it! I also have 1-2 inches of aragamax in my main tank. there are 5 domino damsels in it now. This pic is about 3 weeks old and when i get the aquascaping finished I will post new ones. maybe monday or tuesday. New lights will be coming soon. Shooting for Dual 150 Metal Halides. I have this tank sitting in a corner like the style of a corner tank, the only reason for this is easy of cleaning the back glass panel and i places the sump in the 2 foot trianglular area to act as a type of chiller without the cost lol. I will explain! this house is like 40 years old so insulation under the house is kinda work out. its really cold down there so it makes the tile floors really cold in this particular room. This works really nice and actually cools it to much lol. the halides will heat it up i bet! the tank is hmmm 4-5 weeks old =).. thats about it for now come back Sunday or monday to see updated pics. Remember aquascaping is being redone this weekend! PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK! HOW CAN THIS TANK BECOME GOOD LOOKING WITHOUGHT OPINIONS? thanks for viewing my slice of reef!

Hey Travis

If you start getting more rock then that means more dead spots, which means you could probably use more MJ's....your wavestrip still has a couple more slots right? I would fill em up if I where you Especially if you are gonna get into SPS.....But all of this you can ease into you dont gotta do this all at once. Thought I would put that pic of yours up too If you dont mind

Im not sure, i knmow for sure a yellow tang for algea control... and a mated pair of marron clowns. Any ideas on what should go in??!
