RTN? Not meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Man I can believe this I thought I was the perfect reefer and now my hopes and dreams have been crushed. Where is that rope at and my chair that is missing a leg? Well I just noticed today that my green acro has what to appears to be RTN. It was fine yesterday. Time to frag a few pieces I guess.

Is the tissue just sloughing (peeling) off ?
I would definately frag it if so. Have you done anything different lately that may have caused this? How long have you had the piece? Dont worry bud, it happens to the best of em

Is there such thing as a perfect reefer? It happens to us all, and usually for no apparent reason. I hope you can save part of that coral. I have had very little success keeping a coral that started RTNing to survive, even if I fragged it up to small pieces, even the frags end up RTNing. I have had minimal success, but for the most part, the whole piece gets lost in my hands

Hope you have success with that one. Good Luck.

The only thing I have done is about a month ago I vacumed out a bunch of detrice build up in my CPR hang on refugium and add a second percula clown.
I have had the piece for like 10 months.
Oh wellat least it was one I was wanting to get rid of any way to make room for my better looking corals.
