Hi 6-line!
Those are great pictures! Is this the first time they have spawned for you? Do you plan to try and raise the fry?
Congrats, |

Scott,
these clowns have spawned countless times for me over the last two years. They spawn right on schedule every 10 days or so. I've never made any attempt to try and raise the fry due to the requirements and committment involved in it but it's not completely out of the picture due to many recent developments in larval food and such by culture facilities.... 6

organicreefer,
I believe they were paired maybe 6-9 months before the first spawn???I'm not positive because I don't keep records (I guess I should). They first spawned when they lived in my 55 and then on 9-11-01 I upgraded to the 90 and they took a few months off and then started again and it's been pretty steady since then (unless I move their host colt coral, then they get ticked off and wait a couple months before they are happy again). They don't have an anenome; they lived in the surrogate Colt coral for about 2 years. 6
