Awesome crocea from Clamsdirect

Hi all.
Check out these awesome crocea from Barry. I can't say that I'm surprised of the quality. This is my 4th satisfied order from Barry. Clams arrived in great condition. I acclimate them this morning. See how their mantle are fully expanded and no gaping. My picture is a bit blurry because I was filling water when I took this picture.

They all look great! Can you post a picture of the top right one?

I do not know why I was influenced by my friend and decided to pass on the blue T. crocea C-65. I guess blue is not as bright as green. I am also looking for multiple colors in a clam - so I guess C-68 won.

Also I like this C-72. Barry said it is 4 inch..well - may the shell is 4 inch - but I'm sure much larger when mantle fully expanded. You can see different shades of green.

One more - group shot. I'm actually copy and paste from my original picture (too large to post).

I think Barry's ruler is off.

When I first started out ultra maximas were my favorite. But I have become a big crocea fan. That, and some of the squamosa patterns are really awesome.

All are very nice, hope all goes well with them.

They are all really nice!!c-68 is awesome, I also like the maxima gold in the first pic!!! here in Delaware, there's only one place that will carry clams, and its only squamosas. When i was in fl for christmas though, there was a place in melbourne that just had beautiful clams of all types that were all seemingly healthy. But I haven't seen anything that compares to Barry's or Palmetto's clams yet.

That gold maxima also came from Barry in a previous order. It is doing well. I like its texture. I saw a black/orange maxima at recent MACNA - I think it's probably a gold maxima. I wish that I took a picture of it. I thought that would be a perfect clam for Halloween.

It really helps to be able to pick clam by browsing actual specimen's photo on the internet.
