Is my lighting sufficient for any clam?

I have a 58g RR Oceanic with a 175MH retro 10k Hamilton bulb.
My bulb is 7 inches off the water and I have a 4 inch sandbed.

I love the colors of all the clams......can I support whichever I choose?

You should do just fine provided you place Tridacna crocea and T. maxima clams on the rockwork, rather than the sandbed, and position them so that they benefit the most from your metal halides. You should be OK with T. derasa on the sandbed in your size tank but it would be best to locate them directly beneath the metal halide lighting rather than off to the side.
