Hey Todd,
I see you found the correct placement for those pesky pumping Xenia LOL. Very nice tank and pictures! I'm surprised that Purple Tang doesn't eat more of the grape macro. You should borrow a Naso for a week or so
Tank looks great! Good job.

Regards,
Kevin

Kevin, aside from occasionally eating the bulbs, the purple doesn't touch the stuff. I have various species of caulerpa in this tank and I believe it eats the feather and an unknown type more than the grape. The grape gets on my nerves but i really do like the naturalism it adds to the reef. Now the few tufts of red hair algae that has appeared of late, those I can do without for sure...

Oh and I do like the Xenia, I have tucked it away and have somewhat controlled it but it usually starts making it's climb up the coral rocks and such. I usually place small rocks in the path and simply remove the rock once the xenia has completed the transfer (and off to the LFS it goes ). If it weren't for the money making aspect (and the fact that they are the only coral that interests any guests--besides the valonia) I maintain the stuff. I know I would miss it if I eliminated it completely from the tank...
