Just Moved In

I think I now know what killed my Crocea last month. I think my GS Maroon clown did it. When I put in a Maxima and a Squamosa the clown went strait to the Maxima. A few days later I noticed the clown take a bite out of the clams mantle. It took me two days to catch the clown But I finally caught it sleeping in a xenia and got it out. There is a lot of damage to the lower part of the mantle below the incurent, but the clam is still opening and reacting well. I hate to think of the nine days i was gone and the clown steadily eating at my crocea. The funnything is the clown never touched the Squamosa. I guess he just likes purple clams.

Bummer. Sorry to hear about your clam. It's kind of nice that you found the culprit though. At least you won't have to worry about losing anymore.
