SPS Galore :)

Here are a few shots I took today. There is a Lawnmower Blenny hidden in the first picture. Can you find him? I hope you like them.

Regards,
Kevin

Nice, Kevin.

Love the Stylo sticking out like a sore thumb.

Looks like pics of a reef flat.

He does blend well but I could see him on the bottom of the first pic, right corner from my view.
Sweet shots as always.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

I tried for 2 hours to get some top-down pictures like Chuck does. Not one good one

OK --

Gene's eyes are better than mine (I think... )

I need a hint. Is he right behind the purple branch in the lower right corner? The branch almost looks like it's sticking into his mouth?? Is THAT him????? (I think MAYBE I see his big round fishy eye??!!)

Gorgeous pics as always.

I need to move somewhere where I can set up a bigger tank!

He sure blends in, doesn't he???

And as for glasses helping -- I am blind as a bat, you just can't tell cause I always wear contact lenses.. (really BIG ones.)

I THOUGHT that was him. His stripes look blue in the pic, exactly the color of that big coral he's hanging out with(aren't they "really" pink?). Makes you wonder how they ever catch 'em in the ocean to get them to the stores, huh!??

They are really cool fish... wonder if they'd fight with pearly jaws???

Rebecca,
You are correct! The pink Stylophora is right next to his nose. Here's another picture showing how well camouflaged these fish are

Kevin

Thumbs up

OK THAT's even more cool than the first shot!

What a neat fish. OK guys -- yes or no w Jawfish? How about a LN hawk? (I'm adding fishies soon and there are WAY too many choices)

Is he as easy to keep as he is cute/capable of disguising his fishy self?

They should be fine with Jawfish. Personally I stay away from hawkfish for 2 reasons. They can be aggressive towards certain fish and they are very hard on your pod population. The long nose hawk is one of the least aggressive of the hawkfish family.

HTH,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin.

The jaw and the hawk are the current inhabitants of my 55. I am playing around with like 5 stock lists and 3 different tank scenarios at the moment. I am thinking about setting up a 2nd tank. The LN may move into that. I am MOST covetous of your mandarin. I would buy 'pod cultures from Inland if I got one, but sounds like I have to move the hawk if I get the mandarin.

TOO MANY CHOICES... TOO many fish. And I want one of (almost) everything!

Here's a great little reef fish from the Caribbean (Western Atlantic really). I saw one in Chuck's tank so I just had to get a couple. They have recently paired up. A very peaceful, inexpensive, and colorful fish with a great personality.

Kevin

This one shows my A. prostrata (Chuck this is the one I gave you a pretty good size piece of and you were going to make room on top for it) in the center. It looks almost the same as A. millepora but grows more in a staghorn form. The picture is not too good because the coral is about 3' away.

Regards,
Kevin
