Need calurpra for new refugium please.
O.k., I just built my new sump/refugium for my 50 gallon tank. However after I finished and proceded to my lfs to purchase a few different species of calupra to my dismay, I was told they are no longer sellng it. I then talked to Jeff at Jeffs exotic fish and he said it is illegal to important since the new year. Great now what do I do. Do I hunt down all the lfs shops in southern california and see if they have any left over? People please ideas, help me out. Oh yeah, if any of you guys live in the so. cal. area, would you be willing to sell me some. Or better yet and my most important question in my post, since I live in so.cal., could I go to some tide poll near Malibu or palos verdes and simply snatch some from the pools. Will the sea weed and/or calurpra I find their live in a warm water fish tank. All replies are appreciated, thanx.

Send me an email. In about two weeks I will harvest some extra caulerpa, mainly grape caulerpa.
I would also like to say that I thank Rocky for the batch he sent me. Now I'd like to do a favor and pass along this caulerpa. Thanks, Elmo |
