Question How do I frag Galaxea?

I have a galaxea colony -- started out about 2" * 2" and is now rather huge -- it has fixed two rocks together and is starting to grow up the glass. I cannot remove this coral from the rocks at this point.

How do people frag these corals? Hammer and chisel is the only thing I could think of as possible, but probably too messy for my taste

I seen this done this weekend. He used a hammer and chisel. He just chips off about 5 polyps and then just glues(Quicktite) em down.

You can also use a dremel to make more precision cuts. The skeleton on galaxia is a tad fragile, as you probably know by now if you hit one with a chisel.

Sorry 9 months late, but I'm just beginning to surf around here.

RobG - you going to be at the big Cleveland C-SEA conference this Saturday?
