My new 110 gallon........Need some advice

I am gonna be buying a used 110 gallon tank with a stand and canopy for $300(is this a good deal?)The tank is'nt drilled and I don't think I can get it drilled,I was planning on using a 1000 gph over flow box with a mag 12 for the return, does that sound alright??? Do you think I should use a wet/dry? I want a sump/fuge,I made my own on my 45 gallon and I have a homemade wet/dry on it,but it was a fowlr(any ideas on this?).I am planning on putting 2 400 watt MH and I was thinking some Vho's or maybe some pc's with the Mh,does that sound about right??I am thinking about using 250 lbs of southdown,BUT.......I have some southdown in my 30 gallon reef and I hate the sand storms that my clown makes in there and so do my xenia's,any suggestions? I have about 50 more questions but this post is probally to long already.Thank You All in Advance for your input and help.

Hello,
I'm also setting up a 110g (60"x18"x24"). You should be able to drill your tank too (mine came w/ no holes but I have 1 now and will be doing a bunch more for a closed loop circulation)

Here's my 2 cents

Skip the wet/dry... Sump & refug. are the better way I think.
Not sure if your is the same size as mine but you my need more South down for a bit deeper Sand bed. I would think that with a good live DSB in a lager tank the clown wont stir up so much sand on you
your lighting plans sound good (I would go w/ VHO atinics rater PC)

Hope this helps some and I'm sure others will give more info

The mag 12 is suppose to do 1200gph,and I was thinking that I could put a ball valve on the return just in case.I wanted the higher flow rate in case I wanted to add or change something.Like maybe t off the return line and have it feeding the fuge? I have to be very careful with the money I spend,I can't afford to buy 2 or 3 different pumps trying to get them to work, any thoughts on the mag pumps, are they any good?
