I can't make up my mind if I sould just put a 2 bulb system on it or go w/ 3 maybe four. I only have 7 3/4 in of room because of the piano hinge. I not gonna keep anything that needs sunlight or anything but maybe a clam (not maxima)pulsing xenia(I know but I like um), and some other assorted hard and softies. I've always had relatively small reef tanks where wattage has not been a problem but I'm formulating a plan to reef out the 55. So what so you think?

I run 315 on my 72 (4.375 wpg) I have softies and LPS. All do just fine and grow like crazy. If you are not planning on any SPS I think things should be just fine. However if you can squeeze another bulb in there the more the marrier.

how can you say you are not keeping anything that needs light, then you say hard corals, clams.. etc. and corals in general...... use 3 or 4 bulbs., |
