Pseudopterogorgia bipinnata (Purple Sea Plume)

The Purple Sea Plume is a hardy photosynthetic Gorgonian. It likes moderate lighting and flow. It does not require special feeding but will filter finer foods from the water column. I've had this coral for about 6 years. It can be kept under PC's, VHO's, and metal halide lighting.

Regards,
Kevin

Do you think one would do good under VHO lighting.
I looked it up in Aquarium Corals and it said it is very adabtable.
Hard part is finding one.

Tendar,
Yes I think it would be easily kept under VHO's. I think it would also benefit from feedings of Golden Pearls or similar food.

Regards,
Kevin

i agree with kevin-they are very adaptable ,hardy critters-not very fast growers ime.

as for where to get one-ffexpress has them quite regularly-divertom.com usually has them -i know for sure that drmac has some right now.they usually go for anywhere between 15 -30 bucks.

Just did a pool order from ffexpress but they didnt have any since there is some big storm or something out there and they are having a hard time getting stuff in so will try again next time I order I guess.
Would try Dr Mac but the shipping would kill the price and he really doesnt have anything else I want or need.

Send a message via ICQ to Dazureus
Do you have to worry about algae growth on it?
