lighting for leathers and colts and such

I am setting up a used standard 90 FOWLR tank 48x18x24.
The guy is throwing ice cap 440 with a 3x48 vho lights with it so am thinking of adding a few softies like a couple toadstool leathers and colts in the upper regions of tank. I am thinking that this would be suffiecent light if they are place in the top half of the tank.

There wont be any room for any other light than maybe a single long vho or I am thinging of maybe one of those CSL 48" Brite lights hoods that I would also use as dawn and dusk sort of anyway. I will see how it goes with 3 for a start though.

Tendar,

I think you are correct, the 3 VHO should be sufficient for maintaining toadstoll leathers and colt corals in the tank. I used to grow them under a couple of PC's so the VHO should be just fine.

BLUESMAN,

WASSSSUUUUPPPPPPP!!!!!

With a dual 96 watt pc's you can keep pretty much all the softies and lps corals you want and they will do very well.
