That looks very nice, you have every reason to be proud of it! I do have one question for you, what kind of return pump are you using from your sump? How many GPH?

The pump is a Lifeguard Quiet one, Rated at 1140 GPH.
I have this hard piped with 3/4" pvc with an inline ball valve to my return tube. I have it only opened half way as it really blows things around when opened full.

So realistically your pushing about 400 or 500gph though your sump? I was just wondering, I have the same exact set-up and can't run more through my 20gal sump without getting a ton of bubbles.
Thanks, |

Very nice looking tank ... What kind of lighting are you running? It seems to be a nice shade of blue tint fromt he picture. Nice and clean looking tank. Good luck with it.

I can run this pump wide open without any bubles just to much flow, The fish and corals cant handle it.
I am running 2 - 175 watt MH and 2 - 65 watt PC Actinics stock bulbs. I think the blue in person is a bit much The background was spray painted Metalic Blue before I put the tank up. I think that adds to the blue. When the PC are due to be changed I am going to switch them to Smart Light PC bulbs. I have this bulb (96 watt) alone on my 30 long, Much brighter, I will add the picture of this tank. (The Pacific Anenomie in this tank I have had for about 3 years.)
