Cool

That is very pretty, harley1. Do you have any fish in there with it? I've heard that those guys can get pretty aggressive, though I've never owned one.

But again, it sure is pretty.

It's in a 58 gallon reef tank. Fish occupants are a royal gramma, 6-line wrasse, pajama cardinal, and 2 neon gobies. They all stay away from him

Beautiful My daughter just bought a purple one like that for her tank. They are Vikings fans so she calls it her Viking Anemone!

Very beautiful, just be sure you don't place anything near enough to touch it. Cerianthus spp. have extremely potent nematocysts.

I placed mine in a piece of PVC pipe at first as I read that it was an alternative to burying the "tube" in a deep sand bed. It didn't seem to like it very much so I took it out a couple of days ago and just laid it on the sandbed. Now it's happy and eating pieces of silversides, live brine, and frozen Prime Reef. Just love it!

i just moved my corals from the 29 to the 125.i was going to the lfs to get a yellow leather and another open brain when i decided to put the ls from the 29g in the refugium.the tank clouded up and about gave me a heartattack.i'm waiting for the test kit to complete and will find the results. i will take a new pic as soon as the cloud goes away.in the meantime, look at my gallery pics at reef central.com

Your tank is very nice. Just right! Is that an open brain on the right side?

Those are really pretty imgrtful I tried a red open brain too but for some reason it didn't do well in my tank......too much light? The green one does very well. My daughter has the most beautfil red one in her tank......I've enclosed a pic for you to see it. It's huge and it's her favorite coral......wish I had one like it!
