Some New Pictures

And some new goodies. I just wanted to share some updated pictures of our 75gal SPS and Clam Reef which has some new corals in it tonight.

This is a new colony with pink tips; towards the base it is very pale green:

This is a new frag from an interesting piece. The parent colony is bright green and has crazy growth patterns; this snippet is from the underside so the color is a bit orange, but it will color up nicely I'm sure:

This is a really dark piece with lime green polyps that are starting to extend in this picture:

This one is another new frag that is green on the other side and top but the way it is facing in our tank, the front side is brown since it was the underside of the parent colony:

Not the clearest picture since it is in the back of our tank but this is pink as well. The parent colony was broken into several pieces today:

A very deep purple M. Cap frag:

An updated pic of our Staghorn. We love the polyp extension on this colony:

Left side of our reef:

Right side:

Full Tank:

Thanks,

I think the first coral is awsome. you are running dual 250's right? That is what I got right now and 4 VHO's. I think the tank is looking nice Scott.

Thanks MROK!

Yeah we are running 2 - 250w 10K DE lights as follows:
1 on a SLS Ballast with USHIO Bulb
1 on IceCap Ballast with AB Bulb

No tubes, just the MH and we enjoy the look!

Regards,

Hey Jeff!

There was a very slight difference for about the first week (until the AB bulb burnt in a bit) but now there is no noticable difference as you can see from the pictures. When they fire up there is a big difference but it only lasts for about 3 minutes.

Looking real good Scott ... I like that first one. Let me know if it retains it's colors or it changes to something else.

You are moving along nicely with that tank.

scott, the big brown fuzzy stag youve got-ive got the exact same coral-fastest growing coral in my tank-and its on the bottom

under bright lights the tips turn dark purple-at least in my tank.

youre collection is growing pretty fast-most people would say not to add corals -let alone acros so fast

i suspect youll have nothing but success-keep it up

looking good Scott!! I love the purple cap, and it is going to be a fast grower. I have one, and the growth rate amazes me. Like nearly daily Also, organic reefer is right about that stag. I have one or two of those, and they grow really fast. Stags are about my favorite acros. Your tank is looking really nice!!
