Howdy all. I have a sump with macroalgae and was wondering how long should I leave the lights on.
also, do any of you ever add phytoplankton, or let your aquarium supply it? thanks |

I leave sump light on 24/7.
I add nothing to my sump. the tank will help feed it.

I agree with VTEC si. Leave your lights in the sump on 24/7. It will keep your tanks ph from fluctuating.

I am tired right now and not thinking straight but, it has to do with the levels of CO2 and O2 in your tank.
