clam growing

well, my crocea is 1 month old in my tank. and has already growed a little, i think 1 centimeter. here´s a lousy pic of the shell

i think the growing is happening so fast because of the yeast i´m dosing to the tank. my ilumination is considered border line, is a 70w MH. so, to a crocea grow 1 cm in a month with border line ilumination, i think that there must be something else triggering it. i´m dosing 1g of yeast per day, more or less

Did i read that right, a gallon of yeast. What type of yeast are you using and does it have the same effect as DT"s or something like that? My clam has been under 2 20watt overdriven fluorescents for the last year with a little growth but has been very healthy. I feed DT's photoplankton every 3-4 days. 1g= one grama. sorry for the misunderstood. i dissolve 1g of yeast in 1l of ro water

Opps, late nite. So is it basically the same thing as DT's? And is it just regular yeast? Do you have any more pics of your clam? Looks good but can't see it that well from the angle.
