I would like to know how many people feed their SPS's and what. Is it just Phytoplankton or something else?

I would think that SPS or Acropora in particular would benefit very little from DT's but the other critters would and in turn it will result in more food for this type of corals. I use some GP and some home made brew of fresh seafood (Eric Borneman's recepie) and I do use DT's for the filter feeding fauna, just to build up the food chain

I feed my tank fish food for the fish and very little specific coral food. The coral does pretty well without direct feeding. They do get newly hatched fish as food in my tank though, from my clownfish pair and clown goby pairs.

I feed a variety of things that benefit most creatures in my reef. I feed DT's and have literally seen acropora spp. polyps close and withdraw into the corallite with food. They must be able to take advantage of it being in the water column. I also have been feeding my clams the new product Barry has called KoralviteF. These clams jam on this stuff. Whether the sps benefit I am not sure. Then I will also make a mixture of DT's, Golden Pearls, baby brine and Tahatian Blend and use this very spareingly for all filter feeders. I feed no more than 2-3 times weekly.
