Just moved everything from 25 gallon to 75 gallon
Hi, wow I just moved everything from my smaller tank to the 75 gallon. It looks ok right now, but I have one concern, the pair of premnas i have is not eating as they used to in the small tank.
I netted them each put them in a bucket of original 25 gal water, then acclimated them to the new water, which has been cured. Actually my 75 gallon has been basically empty for about 8 months, except for the water changes that I do and the rocks, heater, PHeads, etc. So i finally made my move to fill some of it up. I'm just worried about my clowns, i've had them for almost 2 years and they have certainly grown (the male was around 2 inches, now he is at least 2.5 or more). They have no signs any parasites, no whitespots, brookynella, etc. Do you think they are just adjusting to the bigger tank? They must miss their cave in my smaller tank. Thanks, Ilham |

Give your clowns a little time. Keep offering them small amounts of food and they should take to it. I assume you are feeding the same food...
Congratulations on your "Upgrade" to a 75. Our transfer from a 30g to 75g will be one year old next week. Unlike you, we had to do our setup and transfer in one day. We didn't loose anything during the move, including our clams. Hold tight... You should be OK. You might run a sanity check on your water parameters? Good Luck, Doug

Both of them are eating, but a bit sluggishly. Sometimes they let brine go by, and usually in my smaller tank they would go nuts over it.
Water parameters are in check, temp and salinity same as in teh smaller tank. I'm just happy they are still eating, and hopefully get more eager soon. Thanks - Ilham |

It's been about 15 months since my transfer from my 29 to my 75 ... don't regret it a bit, I bet you won't either. Good luck with those fish.
