SPS aggression
I thought corals that touch would always sting eachother, but apparently that isn't always the case. What SPS will I have to worry about with other SPS?

Most SPS will sting each other. The result can vary widely from just a fine white line to total bleaching. SPS can buildup a tolerance to each other over time even when they are not touching. They know who is in the tank around them so to speak. Over time when they grow very close together (v.s. falling on each other) they can develop a high tolerance to the coral (but not always). IME it is almost impossible to predict which corals will tolerate each other and who will win when they touch. Normally one coral is dominate over the other. One thing I've observed is that SPS corals grow much faster over newly killed coral skeletons compared to rock.
HTH, Kevin PS: There is some good reading in Eric Borneman's "Aquarium Corals" pg.75 under the heading "Chemoreception"
