Thumbs up im going natural

in light of the S15 report,dr rons urchin larvea study etc ect...

there is just no way i can continue slowly poisoning my tank with IO salt.

yesterday-i threw the 44 gallon brute on the back of the truck and bought myself some catalina and did a water change.it was 30 bucks to fill it up-not the cheapest route($.75 a gallon)....., but probably the best.

but i dunno-so far everything seems the same

I was thinking bout doin the same thing.
I used to get my own water from the local inlet years ago .It wasn't to bad then because I only had a 50 gal FO tank . I live on the second floor so if I do it now it would require me to haul 40 gal a month upstairs.
My boss and I just set up a FOWLR in our office. He has a boat and went out to the Gulf stream and got the water .
I had no problem using the water from the inlet when I used it , it's just the lugging it across town , the inlet is about a 10 mile round trip. I don't know , it would be a good work out .Thinkin this one over!!!!!
Nothin like Organicreeferwater

Ouch.
75 cents/gallon?
Cost 35 cents/gallon at Jeff's exotic. Although I have been using the crystal marine for awhile because my LFS uses it and it happened to be the cheapest.
