My guess would be Merulina ampliata.

I have a smaller piece that I have had for quite a while and it has been growing very slowly and has always been under MH (Low in the tank though usually) Just this past weekend though I saw a piece in someones tank under powercompacts and within a year it over quadrupled in size, he did have it up near the top (darn near growing out of the water) but it was spreading downward kinda like melting onto its rockscape. It will probably do best in moderate flow at nite you can see polyp extension or whenever I feed the tank I see some polyp extension. If you feed your tank practically any type of micro sediment food like golden pearls, zooplankton, rotifers etc etc then im sure the will be obliged. I like feeding my tank at nite cuz all the polyps are generally out that time with mouths open.

I have a piece of this coral too. I have mine in the back of my 180 not in any direct lighting from my 250w iwasaki's. This coral doesn't seem to like much light as I had tried it in a couple of spots and always came back to this lower lighted spot. I think this is a nice coral and it seems to always do good.

I'd check to see where it was kept before so you kind of have an idea where to place it.
