Interesting Coloration on this SPS

Seems like a chocolate brown with greenish tips ... I think it will change color over time ...

There are two white acro crabs in this small colony ... Here is one of them.

You can call that coral DOO-DOO brown (LOL) I like it it looks pretty unusual. Is that MR. HAnky's (Cristmas poo) brother? Where did you find it?

Chuck,

I think it's really cool now. Very unusual color. What colors do you think it will change to?? When you have had SPS change colors in your tank, do they usually go lighter from what they were when you first acquired them, or do they go darker than what they were initially???

I've never seen "black" SPS... only one I can think of is the tubastrea mircantha (sp??). THAT would be really cool if it went that dark -- inky black with those electric blue/green tones..

Please post some of your way cool pics once it starts...

the crabs are cute, too!

I will keep you updated on it I am real sure it won't get darker, if anything it will lighten up and possibly get to be a green or hopefully a blue Time will tell ... as long as my tank water doesn't kill it first ... haha
