Talking about fuzzy
Pick this up from LFS yesterday and as usual, looking to id this thing. It doesn't look like much, but I really liked the polyp extension. I mean it's brown and sort of drab looking ![]()

Hi Rebecca
I'm not sure what it'll do in terms of color.Regardless though,I really don't mind brown Acroporas,as long as it healthy and growing When are you going to take a plunge and get some into your tank?

Gene,
My new "plot" (this changes pretty regularly...) is that I am going to have an LPS focused tank with Tubastrea, and some of the Euphyllias. I think torches and frogspawn (frogspawns?? ). All of those can work with my current lighting system. I am thinking also of setting up a 2nd tank (in my bedroom!) dedicated to seahorses. I keep changing my fishlist I am also waiting for the IT market to pick up. Our business really dropped off in the last 12 months -- general sluggishness, nobody hiring because of uncertainty about the war, blah, blah. I haven't had as much aquarium "play" money as I did when I started setting everything up. But things have really picked up (just these last 2 weeks), so I should be able to carry out my plans shortly. (Wa-HOO!) Rebecca ![]() |

Gene, HI...
Shoot a pic when the polyps are retracted. Thats the only way to get any kind of idea about the species. It kind of looks like an acropora that scubadude has. Practical Fishkeeping mag's. Hi Sue
Thanks,I thought about Rockys acro as well...The only time polyps are retracted is when lights go out and if I try to blow some water on it,the polyps comeback before I can take the shot I'll try tonight using a flash maybe or take it out for a spell. I'll post a pic if I can take a better shot.

Hi everyone,
I figured I'll update on a color of this coral. It is shifting to a more green color(I think).Even the polyps are changing color and the coral is more polyped out at night now. I think the latter is due to my nightly feedings with the Bornemans mush and GPs. Here's a pic I took today...
