Nice Montana! I dig the aquascaping you've done. Nice softies and gorgonian too. What kind of lighting are you using? the only reason I ask is that it looks kinda yellow... but maybe that's because of the pic. How long has the tank been set up?

Hey Brian! I have 2 175ww MH 10,000k German bulbs and 4 NO 40ww Florescant tubes.

Upgrading to 2-250ww MH 10,000k German and 2 96ww PC's in about a week or so. Waiting on the new Light system coming in! Thanks for the compliment on the tank!

Oh and by the way the tank is over 2 years old!

Hi MontanaRocknReefer!

Your tank is looking nice brother! I am sure you know but be sure to take it slow with the lighting upgrade; you got any plans for acclimating your corals to the new light?

Regards,

Hey Scott! I plan on hanging the new lights over the tank. I will have open water on the tank. I plan to have the hood on a chain so I can lower as the critters and coral acclimate to the lights.
I can have the lights about 15" above the tank and slowly lower it. How about hrs in a day on the MH's? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Lights should be up in a couple of weeks! Johnny

Thanks for the compliment on my tank by the way!

Very, very nice reef Montana. So natural looking.

The lights over my 120 are suspended. I like it cause you can raise them up or lower as needed. You're gonna love it.
