I too have been inspired greatly by the japanese type cube systems.
I ordered a 36" long x 30" wide x 20" tall, all starphire, no trim at all and no bracing at all, completely open top, designed tank from Inter-American. Mitch was wonderful to deal with, just make sure you make it clear what you want so you will not have any issues.
All the lights hang from the cieling on pendants, hovering over the tank. I'm using 2 x 250 double ended 10k Ushio, on the sides along with 1 x 250 single ended 20k radium in the middle. The lighting is all by Sunlight Supply systems.
The tank has been up a bit over a week now and I'm loving it. I will try to post some pictures for you. Just convince Dattack over there to bring over his digital camera next time he's at my house.
