lighting 4-96 watt PC, 2 white, 2 atinic
18 gallon sump, caleurpa growing in sump, light on sump 24/7

pair of maroon clowns, sailfin tang, blue jaw trigger, talbot's damsel, bicolor pseudochromis, red scooter blenny, pair of mandarins, zebra hermit crab, scarlet cleaner shrimp, pink sea cuke, green maxima clam, feather dusters, LPS, softies, and mushrooms

I have had it set up for 3 yrs, so far it is doing well.

I have a 20 gallon nano, too. I just put a cpr backpack skimmer on it and I had to move rocks to get it to fit and then....I have to wait for the dust to settle to take more pics of it!

Thanks for the compliments.

Great job,April

How's that blue jaw trigger behaving? I like triggers alot but I'm hesitant to put one in my reef tank. One of this days I got to overcome my fears

Gene

I really love triggers, too and looked around to find one for my reef. I have had the blue jaw in the tank for 3 months. It is a female and she is very well behaved.

She hid in the rocks for 2 wks before coming out. Now she swims all over and eats whatever I put in the tank. She never bothers any of the fish or corals.

She was the last fish added to the tank.

Take the plunge!!

Here is a pic of her, but I have trouble getting a good one 'cause she moves so fast.

Yeah, she is a beaut. I might order me one(for the last fish in this tank ).

Are this triggers blue throat or they called blue jaw? Just wonder what to look for

Gene,

I have seen them called blue throat or blue jaw. The males have the blue jaw and a yellow tail. The females do not have the blue jaw, a bit more plain, but still pretty.

I would like to get a male blue jaw one day, so much for the last fish!

I am trying to talk my husband into another tank, bigger would be nice, we'll see.
