the wait
It is way too tempting to pull out the credit card every time i get on clamsdirect. I just set up my tank a week ago, six months is an eternity!!!

Depending on whom you ask, 6 months may be considered optimistic for introducing clams. Especially if it was a brand new tank…
It really depends on your system. What do you have going? Size, filtration, lighting, etc. Doug

75g aga 20 gal sump/ref. that will soon have mangroves. 4" DSB in tank 2" in sump. still in process of getting all of the lighting but will have 220watts VHO actinic and 2 400watt 10k MH's. Waterflow is currently only at about 350gph, but will be setting up a closed loop soon.

You can add me to a EV series fan club as well. I have small 120 runing on my 75g and I'm very pleased with it. I used to run turbofloater 1000 on it and hated that needleweel pump assembly.
Its set it and forget it with the AquaC.
