Hey!
I have a female blue jaw trigger, and I have seen her eat from the lettuce clip as well.

She will eat anything I put in the tank, including the greens!!!

LOL
Maybe they had a traumatic experience in their fishy childhood.

Therapist: So why do you feel the need to eat from the lettuce clip?

Fishy: Well it all started when I was just an egg....

Maybe I'll take my degree and be a fish psychic!

I have got 2 damsels in my QT tank that eat Calupera(sp?). I put some right into the tank and in a matter of a few days it was gone!!!
I thought was kind of weird.

Most damsels will eat algae as will several of the triggers. One of my pair of Bluejaws will eat Nori the other doesn't. My Chromis, Clownfish, Anthias, blue damsels, and Royal Gramma all eat Nori.

Regards,
Kevin
