Hi All
When caulerpa turns translucent is it gone? It is cup caulerpa and it has these green pea like buds or something. It was growing great in my refugum and now this. Any ideas? Thanks O ------------------ "Only a life lived for others is a life worth while" .A.E. |

Sometimes when you turn on the light in the morning it can have that look. But if it is doing it in mid day, then it is probably on the way out.

What causes this and is there anything you can do to prevent or treat it? I have noticed some of mine doing this also? is it too much light, not enough light? food?

A) Not enough light.
B) Not enough iron. C) Too high a tank temp. (over 85 seems to kill many types). D) Too low a tank temp. (only a couple grow well in cool water). E) Something eating it or its roots. or F)all of the above. ------------------ Play Well |
