Harlequin Shrimp In Stock at www.reefhotspot.com

    Hello from www.reefhotspot.com,

We are happy to anounce that we currently have Harlequin Shrimp On Sale now at Salt Water Fish | Salt Water Fish Aquarium | Exotic Salt Water Fish - Reef Hot Spot

Harlequin shrimp are one of those really cool addiitions to most invert safe tanks. They are visible during about 80% of the photo period and acclimate well to aquarium living. They only eat starfish. Many of our customer have reported success freezing starfish and then presenting them in pieces to the harlequin shrimp as necessary. Many LFSs will sell damaged starfish at a discount to feed Harlequin shrimp.

    Best Regards,
    Customer Service

Re: Harlequin Shrimp In Stock at www.reefhotspot.com

What is the most affordable way to upkeep a harlequin shrimp in a 9 gallon nano tank. Is it possible to maintain under $ 20 a month.

    1. Buy a chocolate starfish and freeze it? (if so how long does one usually last a harlequin shrimp)

    2. Buy a ton of small starfish and hope they breed faster than get eaten, like 30 at one time?

    3. Buy a big starfish and let it eat away at it? (could destroy the sustainability in the tank since it is smaller)

    4. Any body have any better ideas?
